Our journeys can be adapted for travellers interested in bird and wildlife photography. When designing the experience, we consider the elements that can make a meaningful difference in the field: natural light, animal behaviour, observation distance, habitat and sufficient time to wait for the right moment. Whenever local conditions and the confirmed program allow, activities may be scheduled around the softer light and increased wildlife activity of the early morning and late afternoon. Our objective is not simply to collect images, but to capture genuine moments in the lives of wild animals while respecting their space and minimising disturbance to the environment. Specialised photographic arrangements, private guiding and additional time at observation locations can be requested and are subject to availability and confirmation.
Deep in the Peruvian Amazon, Tambopata offers a remarkable combination of rainforest habitats, river landscapes and wildlife encounters. Journey along the Tambopata River, explore forest trails with knowledgeable naturalist guides and visit the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick, where macaws and parrots may gather in an extraordinary display of colour, movement and sound. Depending on the selected program, the experience may also include Lake Sandoval, guided birdwatching walks, river excursions and wildlife observation along forest trails and riverbanks.
