Born and raised in Tambopata, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, Jesús is an Official Tourism Guide with more than two decades of experience creating and leading travel experiences. His connection with the rainforest from an early age has given him a deep understanding of its biodiversity, ecosystems, and local culture, along with a genuine passion for travel, nature, and exploration.
Throughout his career, he has led groups and designed experiences across numerous destinations along Peru’s coast, throughout the Andes, and in the Amazon. He has guided nature expeditions and tailor-made journeys for families, photographers, birdwatchers, adventurers, and academic groups. This first-hand experience with travelers from diverse backgrounds has taught him that every journey should be as unique as the person embarking on it.
His professional background also includes lodge management, coordinating operations in remote locations, travel planning, sales, and representing Peruvian tour operators at international travel events. This combination of field experience and operational expertise allows him to anticipate every detail and design journeys that are safe, seamless, and carefully organized.
Beyond Peru, he has participated in wildlife photography expeditions and wildlife monitoring projects in the northern Brazilian Pantanal and Chilean Patagonia, as well as gaining professional experience in Alaska. In recent years, he has become a dedicated advocate for Amazon conservation, promoting responsible tourism that helps protect wildlife, support local communities, and create a positive impact.
As Co-Founder, Expedition Leader, and Journey Designer at Peruvian Signature Journeys, Jesús places his local knowledge, international experience, and passion for exploration at the service of every traveler, creating authentic and meaningful experiences designed to explore each destination with confidence.

Olivia studied Commercial Aviation and has extensive experience in the tourism industry, driven by a genuine passion for travel and discovering new destinations. Throughout her career, she has worked in sales and operations at renowned travel agencies, developing solid expertise in travel planning and coordination, the issuance of domestic and international airline tickets, and providing travelers with 24-hour assistance whenever a need or unexpected situation arises.
She has designed and marketed journeys to destinations along Peru’s coast, throughout the Andes, and in the Amazon, and later expanded her expertise to international destinations, particularly Disney and the Caribbean. Her travels across different regions of Peru have given her first-hand knowledge of the country’s main attractions, cultures, tourism services, and unique characteristics.
Her commercial and operational expertise, attention to detail, and ability to understand each traveler’s expectations allow her to create personalized experiences that are carefully organized and tailored to different interests and travel styles.
As Co-Founder, General Manager, and Journey Designer at Peruvian Signature Journeys, Olivia leads the planning, coordination, and supervision of every experience, ensuring that each traveler feels supported and cared for from the first contact until they return home. She speaks Spanish and English.

After years of working with renowned tour operators—designing, coordinating, and leading experiences for travelers from different parts of the world—we decided to create a company that reflected our own understanding of tourism: more human, authentic, inclusive, and respectful of nature and local cultures.
